Cookie Policy

1. Premise and purpose

The website www.fisaitaly.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”) uses cookies and similar technologies.

Therefore, FISA Srl (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), as the Data Controller of your personal data, would like to suitably inform you about the tools available on the Site, how they are used and how to manage them, also in order to disable them.

This cookie policy (hereinafter referred to as “Cookie Policy”) integrates the privacy policy of the Company in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (“GDPR”), which you can read by clicking here or on the link at the bottom of each page of the Site.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are downloaded to your device when you visit a website. On each subsequent visit, cookies are redirected either to the originating website (first-party cookies) or to external domains or parties (third-party cookies).

Cookies may be used for a variety of purposes, for example to make it easier for you to maintain your preferences on the website you visit; to allow you to browse through the pages efficiently; to remember your favourite sites; in general, to improve the user experience; and to make sure that the advertising content displayed online is more relevant to you and your interests.

3. Types of cookies and legal basis

Depending on their duration, cookies can be divided into session/temporary cookies, which expire or are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which have a longer expiry period.

As already mentioned, there are first-party cookies, which are directly related to the domain of the site and, therefore, to the Company, and third-party cookies, which are set directly by third parties and used for the purposes and in the manner defined by them. Third-party cookies are therefore necessarily installed by an external party, always defined as a “third party” and are not managed by the Site.

There are several types of cookies:

a) Technical Cookies

Technical cookies are used to browse or provide a service requested by the user. Technical cookies are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or operator of the website. In turn, technical cookies can be divided into:

  • browsing or session cookies, which ensure normal browsing and use of a website. They are required for the proper operation of the site;
  • analytical cookies, similar to technical cookies when used directly by the site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site, in order to improve the performance of the site;
  • functionality cookies, which allow the user to browse according to a set of selected criteria (for example, language or products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to the user.

b) Profiling cookies

They are intended to create single user profiles and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user when browsing online.

Finally, cookies can be classified as either essential or non-essential.

Essential cookies are used only to enable you to browse the Site correctly and use it without any problems. Essential cookies include technical browsing cookies and technical functionality cookies. Due to their nature, which is essential to guarantee the correct use of the Site, your prior consent is not required for the installation of such cookies.

Please note that, if cookies are not set to work on your browser, the result could mean the performance of the Site will be affected and will also restrict your usage of this website.

Non-essential cookies, instead, are those that do not fall within the definition of essential cookies, such as those used to analyse user behaviour on a website or profiling cookies.

Your prior consent is required for the use of these types of cookies.

Failure to provide your consent to the use of non-essential cookie will not affect the proper operation of the Site and will only prevent the activities for which each cookie is intended.

4. Consent to the use of cookies

Your consent is explicitly given whenever you click on the acceptance button, after having read the brief privacy policy contained in the banner that is immediately displayed when you open the Site for the first time and, if you do not give your consent, every time you access it.

5. Withdrawal of consent

Please note that you may at any time withdraw your consent to the use of cookies from the panel located in the paragraph “Cookies installed on this site and their purposes” and by following the instructions in the “Cookie management” paragraph.

6. Cookies installed on this site and their purposes

Below is a detailed description of the cookies on this Site.
With regard to third-party cookies, the next dedicated paragraph contains a list of third parties with the links to the privacy policy provided by the relevant external supplier and any other information that may help you manage them in an informed manner.

7. Cookies and other third-party technologies

Below is a list of third parties who install their own cookies through the Site, together with a reference to their privacy policies, which we invite you to refer to.

Indeed, we would like to remind you that these parties are independent data controllers of the data collected through the cookies they use; therefore, they can be managed and disabled as indicated in their respective privacy policies.

Google Analytics

The Site uses analysis cookies provided by Google inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Google”), better known as “Google Analytics”. Therefore, cookies are placed on your device for statistical analysis purposes, in aggregate form, in relation to the use of the Site.

The data generated by the cookie is stored by Google, as explained in the privacy policy available by accessing the following link: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/cookie-usage

Google’s general Privacy Policy, instead, can be viewed by accessing the following link: http://www.google.com/intl/it/policies/privacy.

To ensure your privacy as much as possible, the Company anonymises IPs. Consequently, Google Analytics will make your IP address anonymous as soon as this is technically possible.

Furthermore, the Data Controller has accepted the Google Ads Data Processing Terms made available by Google in compliance with current regulations and has limited the possibilities for sharing data with third parties, through specific settings.

For this reason, the advertising and data sharing options with Google have not been enabled and Google Analytics has not been linked to any additional services.

However, by accessing the following link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=it you can download and install the browser add-on to disable Google Analytics. In this case, no information will be sent to Google Analytics.
